What You’ll Do As an Assistant Store Manager – EHS & Operations, you’ll lead efforts to create a safe and sustainable environment for customers and colleagues, championing our ‘Safe Today, Safe Tomorrow’ vision and Primark Cares strategy. Partnering with the Store Manager and wider team, you’ll drive a strong safety culture, ensure compliance with EHS policies, and support operational excellence. You’ll also manage the EHS & Operations In-store Lead and help boost sales, cut costs, and uphold governance. What You’ll Bring To be successful in this role, you must have 4 years prior experience in retail leadership in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. For candidates interested in this role, we require that you have completed Operations / EHS training in line with local guidelines prior to taking the role. You will have excellent leadership and people management skills with experience in developing high performing teams and future leaders. A true leader, you will be able to engage and influence stakeholders and act as a role model to motivate and inspire a team that exudes confidence and enthusiasm. Experience of delivering excellence in customer service and store standards by developing others, setting, and communicating clear expectations and encouraging, motivating, and celebrating success. You bring strong planning and organizational skills and the ability to work to agreed timescales. You have experience managing or supporting resourcing planning and scheduling. Demonstrable experience in Primark having reached Department Manager level or previous. Position holder must be able to communicate effectively and efficiently, orally and in writing, with managers, supervisors, and hourly colleagues in English to provide instruction, coaching, corrective action, safety instructions and lead teams as a manager daily and in emergencies. Position holder must also be able to provide amazing customer service in English, which includes being able to orally communicate with customers in English and monitor the performance of English-speaking colleagues whose job duties require communication with customers. The pay range for this role is: $79,040 - $107,120 This is a good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The base pay rate offered will account for internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region of work, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
