About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief of Service, Business Partner with a focus on strategic support and advice in the areas of human resources management, budgetary and financial administration, resource planning, and general administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating and implementing the work program of the business partner service, ensuring high-quality standards in the service's outputs, and coordinating work within the service and with other organizations. This role involves providing expert and strategic support to senior management, overseeing management reviews, and participating in the development and implementation of strategic, administrative, and financial frameworks. The Chief of Service will also be involved in human resource management, including talent acquisition, and will serve as a lead financial adviser, coordinating the preparation of departmental proposals for resources. Applicants for the Chief of Service, Business Partner position at the company should have an advanced university degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 15 years' of experience in finance, budget, and human resources management. A significant portion of this experience must be at the international level, with at least 3 years' in a senior managerial role. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in formulating budget proposals, managing budget implementation, and producing reports. Experience in human resource management, including talent acquisition, and a background in coordinating actions on financial and human resource matters with other international organizations are also essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of organizational change management and be fluent in English, with knowledge of French or another official UN language being an advantage.
