About the role

The Facility Space Planner plays a vital role in the planning, design, and execution of innovative and functional workspace for Quantum Health. This position is responsible for developing strategic space solutions, coordinating personnel moves and furniture reconfigurations, and maintaining accurate space data to support the company’s evolving operational needs. The Facility Space Planner collaborates closely with internal departments to understand space utilization, ensuring workspace solutions are both functional and aligned with organizational goals. This role also includes responding to and executing corrective actions for service tickets to maintain workplace functionality and satisfaction.

What you’ll do

  • Space Planning and Design: Develop and implement space plans and strategies to accommodate growth and evolving business needs. Design efficient workspace layouts and update floor plans using AutoCAD. Maintain and update department and pod signage reflecting client and space changes.
  • Project Management: Lead and oversee all phases of space-related projects, from moves and vendor coordination to installation and close-out. Manage timelines, budgets, and punch lists to ensure successful project delivery with minimal workplace disruption.
  • System & Data Management: Maintain accurate space utilization data, personnel locations, and occupancy metrics within OfficeSpace . Ensure data integrity to inform strategic space planning decisions.
  • Furniture: Coordinate furniture changes, installations, and repairs. Maintain an accurate Inventory system.
  • Ergonomics: Conduct ergonomic assessments for employees.
  • Other duties as assigned

What you’ll bring

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree: equivalent work experience will be considered
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in space planning or similar role
  • Proven ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and collaboratively when necessary
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate professionally with internal teams and external partners
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Certified Office Ergonomics Evaluator (COEE) or certification within 60 days of hire
  • Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD
  • Strong administrative/technical skills; Comfort working on a PC using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), IM/video conferencing (Teams & Zoom), and telephones efficiently.
