Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (some Saturdays as needed, based on business needs)
About the Role
Balance Staffing is seeking to hire an experienced Manufacturing Manager for a direct placement opportunity with a client in the premium spice industry , located in Rohnert Park, CA . This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and respected company known for high-quality, all-natural products and a commitment to sustainability and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a production team of 100+ employees, ensuring efficiency and high performance
Oversee and manage production schedules, ensuring timely delivery and optimized workflows
Maintain proper inventory levels to support production needs while minimizing waste
Support and maintain certifications including Organic, Non-GMO, Gluten-Free, Kosher, and SQF
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards
Monitor KPIs and production metrics to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Create reports and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Utilize NetSuite ERP, QMS, and MRP systems to manage production and inventory
Coordinate machine and facility upkeep to minimize downtime
Maintain a list of capital assets and coordinate maintenance with internal and external resources
Create and manage work orders through NetSuite and ensure data accuracy
Work cross-functionally with teams in quality, sales, finance, supply chain, and executive leadership
Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Manufacturing Manager in a food manufacturing or related production environment
Strong knowledge of food safety standards, SQF, OSHA, and industry certifications
Proficient in ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), MRP, and QMS tools
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Experience implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement strategies
Ability to analyze data and make informed operational decisions
Spanish language skills are a plus
Schedule
Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Some Saturdays as needed based on business needs
