The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add an experienced, motivated food production manager to our Trio Community Meals team in Baltimore, MD. As a food production manager, you will have the opportunity to supervise the food production process including purchasing, food specifications, meal preparation, service and sanitation.

What you'll be doing:

• Orients and trains new employees in production areas.
• Oversee and support daily production.
• Develops standardized recipes and utilizes other production tools to ensure food quality and cost objectives are met.
• Participates in the planning and execution of special events.

What we're looking for:

Must-haves:

• 3+ years progressive culinary management experience preferably within a high volume production environment.
• Knowledge of compliance and sanitation standards.
• Ability to organize workloads and meet time deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft software programs.
• ServSafe Certification.

Nice-to-haves:

• Associate degree in culinary arts preferred.

Compensation Range

$60-70k/yr. dependent on experience.
