Locations New York Job type Permanent We are looking for a Global Director of Sales Enablement to join the Global Product and Commercial Growth team within Spotify Advertising. This leader will lead the Sales Training and Enablement Team, overseeing the development, execution, and continuous improvement of programs that empower our business teams to drive revenue growth. This role will oversee the design and delivery of training, tools, content, and processes that enhance business effectiveness across Spotify Advertising. What You'll Do Oversee a global team that owns all enablement initiatives for Spotify Advertising, ensuring that business teams have a clear understanding of our positioning, tech, and can confidently pitch narratives and products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, business operations, marketing science, and others, to ensure relevant and timely enablement programs accompany all new product and narrative launches. Develop and deliver impactful enablement programs, using data to assess impact and refine initiatives accordingly. Drive adoption of central enablement tools and continuously measure their effectiveness. Design and implement a comprehensive, scalable onboarding program for new sales hires. Partner closely with global sales leadership to identify the unique enablement needs for each region. Serve as a trusted advisor to sales leaders on team readiness and performance. Foster a culture of continuous learning, coaching, and performance improvement across a global team. Who You Are A minimum of 10 years of proven experience in advertising / ad tech. Experience in leadership roles overseeing enablement or similar organizations such as sales or marketing. Ability to turn complex topics into engaging stories, inspiring and influencing business teams across a large organization. Deep understanding of the media landscape, with strong background in automated ad buying, including experience with walled gardens and programmatic platforms. Experience developing successful training programs aimed at driving revenue. Proven track record of influencing behavior at various organizational levels, including cross-functional directors and senior executives. Experience working globally with an empathetic approach to nuanced customer needs. Strong interpersonal skills, with experience engaging cross-functionally. Ability to combine creativity with critical thinking and demonstrate strong organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable serving as a spokesperson at industry events and in trade media.
