Salary:

Insight Memory Care Center is a non-profit organization, seeking a fulltime Grants Manager. The Grants Manager is responsible for developing and managing a pipeline of current and prospective grant funders that align with Insight's priorities and strategic goals.

The role requires a detail-oriented individual to identify, research, prepare and submit grant proposals, ensure accurate data collection and management, determine and provide appropriate stewardship, and ensure compliance with all grantor guidelines. The ideal candidate has a firm understanding of non-profit fundraising strategies, possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, and has a proven track record of successful grant management. This position reports to the Director of Philanthropy.

Responsibilities:

• Research and identify new corporate, foundation, private, and government funding prospects that match IMCC's mission and goals.
• Analyze grant funding trends to identify growing programs, opportunities for increased funding, and areas in need of greater development.
• Write compelling grant proposals, letters of interest/inquiry, concept papers, and related materials for proposal submissions that align with funder interests and IMCC's priorities.
• Ensure all grant applications meet funder's guidelines and adhere to all regulations.
• Develop and maintain the database of grant information, submissions, progress, tracking, and reporting.
• Conduct successful grant reporting, ensuring IMCC grants are implemented according to the operational and financial needs of the organization while meeting the requirements of the funder.
• Coordinate with various departments to compile financial data and outcomes.
• Track grant expenditures and prepare financial reports for grantors in compliance with financial regulations.
• Keep relevant staff informed about upcoming deadlines and deliverables.
• Manage relationships with funders and partners, including regular communication and updates.
• Provide monthly reports to the Director of Philanthropy and IMCC leadership regarding new, ongoing, and closed opportunities.

• Assist the Philanthropy Team with event logistics for IMCCs annual Paintings & Pairings Gala and Legacy Breakfast.
• Assist with in-kind donations including the solicitation mailing, recording and tracking, and acknowledgement.
• Assist with event donor history, attendance, and other event-related information in database and related documents and platforms.
• Assist with identifying and managing event volunteers as needed.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of other IMCC events as necessary, including third party events.

• Assist the Philanthropy Team with donor database; ensure valid donor data and donor stewardship, from entering donors, gifts, recognition and running reports. When needed, assist in building donor database.
• Assist in implementing IMCCs donor recognition program outlined in IMCCs Fundraising Policies.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in marketing, public relations, business management or a related field and equivalent work experience or relevant professional experience in the field of development.
• Minimum three years of experience in non-profit organizations, grant writing and fundraising is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a donor database (Raiser's Edge, Neon, Veracross, or similar system) is a benefit.
