Position Summary

The Grants Manager leads the full lifecycle of grant activity at Tri-Lakes Caresfrom research and proposal development to reporting and relationship management. Reporting to the Director of Development, this role collaborates across departments to ensure timely submissions, data tracking, and strong alignment between funding opportunities and community needs.
This is a full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid position based in Monument, CO, with approximately half of work performed on-site.

Key Responsibilities

Grant Development & Management

  • Research and pursue new grant opportunities aligned with TLCs mission
  • Write clear, compelling proposals, reports, and supporting materials
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely, accurate submissions
  • Build and manage the grant calendar and funding targets
  • Coordinate with accounting and program teams for compliance and reporting
  • Track outcomes, outputs, and stories used in grant narratives

Funder Relations

  • Nurture relationships with current funders
  • Represent TLC at funder visits, check presentations, and site tours
  • Provide timely updates and grant highlights for newsletters, social media, and internal use

Team Collaboration & Communication

  • Support fundraising campaigns and donor events with grant expertise
  • Share grant insights and progress across departments
  • Represent TLC in community presentations and internal meetings
  • Fill in for team members or the Director of Development as needed

Candidate Profile

  • 3+ years of experience in grant writing, with a strong emphasis on grant management preferred
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • Experience building meaningful funder relationships and securing funding
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and cloud-based tools; familiarity with Grantseeker is a plus
  • Commitment to ethical fundraising and alignment with TLCs mission

Schedule & Location

Hours: 40 hours/week; flexible within a standard workweek

Hybrid Work: Approximately half of hours worked on-site

Location: TLC offices in Monument, CO

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Rate: $25$33/hour, based on experience
