LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY (Cincinnati, OH 45202), 6 Month CTH, Onsite 4 days a week NO (Sponsorship, C2C, H1B, OPT), Pay $65 -$75 per Hour W-2 Only

CBTS is searching for a Network Engineer with a security background. This position is a technically skilled and collaborative role that will serve as the primary point of contact for multiple IT teams, including Network Infrastructure, Server Systems, Communications/Monitoring, and Endpoint Engineering. This candidate will be involved in Infrastructure Security in the network, Firewalls and with zScaler

Responsibilities:

This position plays a critical role in supporting the deployment, optimization, and troubleshooting of a wide range of infrastructure technologies and services, while also acting as a key liaison for security-related IT initiatives.

• Act as the single point of contact for to the Network Infrastructure on all security-related matters.
• Involved in implementation and integration of security tools acquired by Security Operations and/or other IT teams.
• Collaborate with IT Infrastructure and Security team to ensure security policies are consistently applied across all tools and platforms.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge-sharing resources.
• Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.
• Ability to analyze logs for system health and troubleshooting.
• Assist Security Operations with security incident when required.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience configuring firewalls (Palo Alto Preferred)
• 3+years of experience Working with Cisco ACI Routing and switching technologies.
• 3+ years of Network Segmentation Deployments
• 1+ year of experience with Zero Trust and the ability to deploy Zscaler application and branch connectors

Preferred/Pluses:

• Industry certifications CCNA.
