Network/Security Engineer

We are seeking a Network/Security Engineer with at least two years of hands-on experience configuring and managing enterprise network and/or security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work independently with a strong sense of system ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and manage enterprise-grade networking or security infrastructure
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of routing and switching technologies or security platforms
• Perform MACD tasks including switchport patching and configuration
• Manage and maintain an accurate inventory of network and telecom devices
• Monitor network and telecom infrastructure, coordinating with vendors to resolve issues
• Apply best practices and perform system upgrades as needed
• Respond to and investigate security alerts, applying corrective actions to ensure a secure environment
• Work independently, taking ownership of systems and tasks from start to finish

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with firewalls (Palo Alto strongly preferred)
• EDR, MDR, or SIEM platforms (major plus)
• Load balancers and proxy server configuration/support
• Cisco wireless infrastructure and telephony systems (big plus)
• Cloud networking experience, particularly in Microsoft Azure
• Vulnerability management and remediation practices
• Packet sniffing and traffic analysis tools
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, Security+, or other security credentials
