Their primary duties include: System Design: Architecting scalable and efficient systems specifically for capturing and processing clickstream and website log data. Data Modeling: Developing and maintaining data models tailored for clickstream data to ensure accurate and meaningful data representation. Data Integration: Ensuring seamless integration and enhancements of clickstream data from various sources into centralized data repositories such as data warehouses or data lakes. ETL Processes: Designing and implementing robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to handle the large volumes and high velocity of clickstream data. Analytics and Reporting: Collaborating with data analysts and business stakeholders to design systems that provide actionable insights and reports based on clickstream data. Tool Selection and Implementation: Evaluating and implementing tools and technologies specifically suited for clickstream and edge data collection, storage, and analysis. Data Governance: Establishing data governance policies to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards.
