This role requires working in our Zurich office for a year before relocating to Chicago, IL, with substantial involvement in Swiss business development activities. We tailor our accounting, auditing, tax, and business consulting services to meet the needs of foreign-owned businesses in the U.S. For over 40 years, our core practice has served German-speaking and other foreign-owned companies operating in the U.S. Our headquarters is in Atlanta, GA, with additional offices in Birmingham, AL, Charlotte, NC, Denver, CO, Detroit, MI, Greenville, SC, Houston, TX, and Manhattan, NY. The primary hiring team is based in Chicago, but qualified candidates from other U.S. offices will be considered. YOUR SKILLS: Degree in business management, economics, or similar Swiss tax consultant exam (Steuerexperte) completed 5-10+ years of practical tax experience Willingness to travel domestically and internationally Open-minded, networking-oriented, with presentation skills Exceptional English skills (speaking and writing) Fluent in German Proactive, self-motivated, and responsible Enthusiastic team player Interest in working with international middle-market and entrepreneurial companies OUR OFFER: Challenging projects advising clients on international transactions Business development opportunities with Swiss clients Work closely with Swiss clients in the U.S. Independent preparation of tax returns, memos, opinions Involvement in auditing and attest engagements Extensive training resources and support for US CPA exam Rödl & Partner USA will cover visa processing and relocation expenses for qualified candidates and dependents.
