  • Registered Nurse position in Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit at MMC Las Cruces.
  • Facility provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services on inpatient and outpatient basis.
  • Joint Commission Accredited, Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI, Certified Primary Stroke Center.
  • Position requires 2+ years of experience.
  • Patient population serves all ages.
  • Patient ratio is 1:6.
  • EHR system used is Meditech.

    Job Requirements

  • Certification/licensure required to work as an RN in New Mexico.
  • Required certifications prior to start: ACLS, BLS, HWC, NIH.
  • Must have New Mexico state license and comply with fingerprinting and background check requirements.
  • Travelers may start on a 14-day waiver while waiting on background check results but must be supervised.

    Schedule Information

  • Shift details provided; weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
  • Weekend hours every other weekend or as needed.
  • Call requirements as needed.
  • Orientation is weekly on Mondays.
